Reflection on Holiday Greeting Video

I think my partner and I did a good job at communicating with each and giving each other the opportunity of working together and both of us giving ideas. My partner and I came after school and review our project. We gave a lot of our time to this project. One of the things Im also proud of having in my project is the music. We thought we werent going to have enought time to include music in it, but at the end we did. I would have like to included pictures when we were talking about a certain topic. That would have looked amazing,but unfortunately we didnt have time. Another thing I saw in another video was how creative they were in their titles. I would of liked if we were more creative in our titles, probably more color to it or a different background. What i did to create my group project was to look up pictures, edit the second video and keep ourselves on track of things. I also tried looking for music for the video. I helped my partner by staying sfter school and helping him with the editing. My partner Eddy helped me by downloading the music and importing it to our video. What I would do differently if i had a chance to complete the project again would have to be editing our video a little bit more. We had some cuts in our video that I personally didnt like, but overall, i would have to say Eddy and myself did a woderfull job. Im proud of our project. !!!

Bree's video was amazing. One of the things I enjoyed about their video was the fact that it had a lot of funny moments. For example,when Bree was dressed as a grandma, i just thought that made their video more interesting. I also liked how the camera followed Cody when he was walking down the hall way. Another thing i liked from this video was the variety of interviews they had.( students, teachers, campus supervisor).

One of the things i liked about this video was the message they included at the end. It was really inspiring to me. I also liked how Cristabel came out of the restroom pretending to sent a guy a nude picture. I though this was interesting because there is many girls who do it. And it is important for them to know thats not right.

Deleting, Lifting & Extracting Clips Workshop

A simple cut in the timeline means When you cut, the other clips in the timeline you will the gap in the middle. A ripple edit is when wou take part of a clip and delete it. When you ripple delete, the other clips to the right will open up and there will be a gap in between it. Lifting and extracting are two ways to cut a clip at one time.Lifting is like taking a video without erasing it while extracting is like erasing a video in terms of what happens to the other clips in the timeline.I decided to do these the two clips like this because it was very interersting to see how they have a gap in between them.

What I learned about insert and overlays was very interesting because i learned to convert videos into different ways. the difference between overlays and insert is that overlays cuts a piece of the video out and replaces it with a new clip. And an insert is the process by which you insert a clip without changing anything. You might use an overlay when you want to cut a part of a video you dont like. And with and insert, you might want to insert a piece of clip into the video and you might want to use the insert. Overall it was fun to do this two different projects.

Reflections on Viewing Baler Interview Projects

One of the videos that impacted me was Cassandras videos. One of the things that I liked about her video was that she went right to the point. Her video was not long, and she did a good job on picking the people on in the video. The second video I chose as my favorite was Codys, because he had different kinds of opinions and i liked his title and credits too. What I learned from this videos were the variety of ideas they brought to the video. Next time I do my project,I will inject more enthusiasm in my videos.

Reflection:
I think im getting better at editing the videos. I did a great job of picking the videos we chose for our final project. I'm happy with the way our video turned out. I should have done my project a little bit faster and we would of finished earlier. If i could do this project over, I would try my hardest and I would pay more attention to what my partner was telling me. On my next project I need to remember to stay on task. On my next project, I would like to learn how to add music to my video clip. One way I helped my partner was to edit the title of our video project. My partner helped me by editing the credits. On this project I gained the idea how to make the title and the credits of a video. What helped me figure this out was the powerpoint Dr. A made for us. One challenge we faced was time. We overcame this because we actually paid attention and we tried our best. All in all, i really enjoyed making this project with my partner.

Reflection:
The skills I have learned doing this project are the start point and the end point. I also didnt know how to import stuff and I learned how to do that. What I liked about my final product is that i did all the things that i was supposed to do, and it came out really nice. I would like to learn how to do things faster, and prepare myself a little bit more. My parter Denise and I had a lot of communication during this project. My other friend Eddy Navarro also helped us during our project. The powerpoint really helped me figure out how to do the project faster. The technology was a challeged for me, even though I'm really good with technology. The possible challenge I had was the use of the Adobe Premire Pro, this program was new to me so I had a difficulty with it. But overall this was a fun an enjoyable project for me to accomplish.
